We’re kicking off the IP Powerhouse forum with an introduction to Lysora Technology, one of the networking platforms we’re excited to offer and support.
Lysora provides a complete lineup of networking equipment designed around simplified deployment, centralized cloud management, and competitive pricing. The Lysora ecosystem includes:
Cloud-Managed Routers
Lysora offers routers for everything from smaller business networks to higher-performance installations. Available features vary by model and include multi-gigabit connectivity, SFP/SFP+ uplinks, PoE, SD-WAN, VPN functionality, and cloud-based management.
Managed & PoE Switches
The Lysora switch lineup ranges from compact 4- and 8-port models to larger 24- and 48-port switches, including PoE and multi-gigabit options. There are also industrial models for applications that require equipment designed for more demanding environments.
Wi-Fi Access Points
Lysora offers indoor, outdoor, and specialized wireless access points, including Wi-Fi 7 models. These can be centrally managed through Lysora Cloud and are designed to make deploying and maintaining multi-AP networks easier.
Wireless Bridges
For locations where running cable or fiber isn't practical, Lysora also offers wireless bridge solutions. These can be useful for connecting separate buildings, cameras, gates, parking lots, warehouses, and other remote network locations.
Lysora Cloud
One of the biggest parts of the Lysora ecosystem is its unified cloud-management platform.
Routers, switches, access points, and wireless bridges can all be monitored and managed from a common platform. Lysora also provides tools for network design, device provisioning, troubleshooting, topology visibility, and multi-site management.
A particularly interesting difference is that Lysora Cloud management does not require a recurring cloud-management license, helping keep the long-term cost of ownership down.
Where Does Lysora Fit?
We see Lysora as an interesting option for:
- Small and medium-sized businesses
- Security and surveillance networks
- Multi-site customers
- Restaurants and retail
- Offices and warehouses
- Schools and municipalities
- Managed service providers
- Installers looking for an alternative networking platform
- Projects requiring PoE switches, Wi-Fi, routing, and wireless bridges under one ecosystem
Over the next several weeks, we’ll use this forum to take a closer look at individual Lysora products, applications, network designs, comparisons, installation tips, and answers to common questions.
Have you installed Lysora yet?
